About Ellis Nadler


I love allegories, symbols, metaphors and making lists. I work mainly on paper using  the  skills and techniques acquired over many years as one of England's most successful illustrators. I live in London.


1971-75: London College of Printing and Goldsmiths College

1981: Brighton College of Art

1975-2008: Worked as a freelance illustrator for clients worldwide in advertising, publishing, editorial and design. Award-winning photographer and author of several children's books. Exhibited in group shows including Royal Academy Summer show, Royal Society of Painters in Watercolour, Printmakers Council, European Illustration etc.

2008 - 2009: Concentrate on private commissions.

2009 - 2011: Develop the Project of U'ut

2015 onwards: Commence "The Cumulative Index"
